Heinz Kinigadner - the two-time motocross world champion, the first motorbike rider to join the Red Bull family. “The collaboration with Red Bull has given me wings too” says Heinz Kinigadner today. Together they founded the “Wings for Life” foundation, which has as its aim the discovery of a cure for spinal cord injury. For Kini − as his friends call him – motorbike riding has added a lot to his life, but it has also taken a lot. His brother Hans had an accident in 1984 and his son Hannes came off his bike in 2003. Both received a spinal column injury and are paraplegic. “My dream and main aim in life with “Wings for Life” is to make spinal cord injury curable” says Heinz Kinigadner.
